I am a freshman at the University of Michigan, and I could not be more excited to be here and start this amazing journey. I am from Seattle, Washington, so I have come a long way to study here at this amazing academic institution and be a part of the famous Wolverine community. I am planning on studying Cellular and Molecular Biology in hopes of achieving my ultimate goal of becoming a pediatrician. I do love the sciences obviously, however I also have found a recent passion for politics as well as for certain arts. School is very important to me and I have high expectations for myself throughout the next few years. While academics are extremely important, personal activities also play a crucial role in my life.
I have a wide range of interests and I enjoy several different activities outside of the classroom. Growing up, I was very involved in swimming and the swimming community. Coming from Seattle, Washington, you would think that swimming was not a popular activity, but it is something I am very passionate about and thoroughly enjoy. Other pass-time activities that are important to me are other sports, traveling, and being with the people that mean the most to me in my life.
As I write this blog, I hope you will get to know about me a little more and I can help provide you with insight and views on topics you might not have otherwise thought about. Enjoy my blog!
